My Elantra N got low coolant level, time for a fill up

Damn Marsen, sorry to hear about your dad. My dad suddenly passed away in April, outta the blue. Life will never be the same. I moved to a new nicer place, I got the Hyundai EN and even my first son was born 2 months ago.. sadly my dad didn’t get to see any of that.. every time I talk to my fam we always say “love you” when we finish talking, cause you never know. It’s nice knowing those were our last words at least. All that’s left is memories and stories and life lessons learned. We can never stop talking about them.. “oh if dad was here he’d say…” type of stuff ha. My dad built the house they lived in, the big shed out back, he even built a boat and helped many ppl building many dif things.. if I could become a quarter of the man he was I’d be happy with that. It’s hard but we gotta continue living. Keep your head up man! Take care.

My N has low coolant too, thanks for this video! My '22 has 11k miles. Seems simple to do., what a joke that the dealer didn't know anything about the car. Sorry to hear about your loss man., , I will remember you and your family in my prayers today.

Hey man, so sorry to hear about your dad. No words can help you heal, but hopefully in time it’ll be easier to accept. Great video as usual. I noticed mine is already getting a little low. I’m at 8, 200 miles. How expensive was the coolant from the dealership? And for real how could they still not have the EN in their system??? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. They don’t know what oil to use, why would they know which coolant. My biggest gripe about Hyundai!

Second time now my coolant is at the MIN mark. I called the dealer and they wanted $48 for it, but the guy cut me a break and will sell it to me for $30. I just hope when I top it off, it won't go down again. Can't imagine my car having only 15k miles would have a coolant leak at this stage.

Hello, congratulations for the video. I also own an Elantra from 2022 1.6 mpi, European model, I noticed that in 6k km it lost somewhere around 1 cm. I can't figure out what happens to it, it evaporates, or loses it, and this decrease in the expansion vessel has been observed since the cold temperatures came.

P.S is it normal for these Hyundai engines to lose coolant? I guess a small amount is normal maybe. Cheers

Im a year late but i have the 2023 sonata and it takes pink coolant but its a bit of a hasle to drive an hour to the dealer to get the coolant, i saw one that says pink but does not soecify its for hyundai, says its ethylene glycol on it but the vehicles are jaguar audi and others please help
