The only video I‘ve seen with a Klon type pedal into a higher gain amp. So, regarding the fact that Pete also put it through low gain/clean amps, this is by far the best Klon type pedal test on Youtube. I‘d even say it‘s the only good one. Thanks man!

Love running overdrives into an already dirty amp, lots of volume boosted on the pedal, maybe 1 or 2 o'clock on the gain, but then then roll your guitar volume back to around 7, and you got all that juice & sustain, but a little cleaner & little cool clankyness depending on how your eq'd, somewhere in the EVH II park, lots of juicy pinch harmonics. That's where I live.

I couldn't make a decision on this pedal without hearing the gain thru a driven amp. I don't think I would use it as a boost. I have a pedal that I love for that. It took me a while to find a proper demo, so a big thank you for that!

Thanks.. Great Pedal RYRA!!! So far this one sounds 100% because it must be the same basic circuitry. The real Klons have something that just sounds like an amp, a real tube amp tone that is rarely matched. It's the love of that tone through an amp sound, that people spend the money for. Not Bad. ha ha ok saving up for another pedal!

I don't know whether it's a good klone or not, but it's an awesome pedal. Excellent EQ push, very wide adjustment range on the controls, and the most playing dynamics I've ever gotten out of a pedal. I use mine as a boost with the gain at 9 o'clock.

I got one of these about a year ago! Sounds great. I used it just this past week on a song that's going on a TV Movie "The Wild Unkown".
