Yes, Alastor does outscale, but the match-up is why he loses. KR, gaster blasters, telekinesis, and faster overall speed (mainly combat). I simply don't see Alastor keeping up with him for long, nor will any of his attacks be able to reach Sans. His tentacles aren't fast enough to hit him, and his minions are just minor distractions at best.

Sans is underrated in his intellect, especially in BIQ and Alastor is an overconfident fighter. Sans' attacks are soul based, so he doesn't need angelic weapons to kill him.

They may have similar fighting styles, but when actually thinking about it, Sans is practically a counter to Alastor.

This is exatly the type of vs Sans is made for, sure Alastor i way way WAY more powerfull than what Sans could be, but that doesn't matter with karma, its a perfect counter.
