Sans's biggest problem is that, at least according to Undertale, all of his attacks directly affect and damage souls without mentioning karmic retribution. Sans literally has the ability to damage the soul (something that in HH only angel weapons can do)and the ability to cause a poisoning effect on all demons according to their sins

Sadly, even with an entire season of buffs, Alastor still loses

He didn’t show anything that Sans can just teleport away/dodge. Alastor’s teleportation from what we’ve seen takes time to process

Not extreme diff but mid diff. The only chance for alastor to win here is to just keep going. But he's not a patient person which is the reason for him to actually loose

Well the more sins you have, the more hp you loose from Sans's attack because of the carma effect. So Sans would probably win. But probably he'd be to lazy to fight Alastor

But if alistor attacks first and hits he will win but it depends on if he can land a hit

Alastor has already showed feats that are better than sans'.
Sans is around wall level while alastor creates fricking portals with huge ass tentacles coming out of them.
