🔴 Red Sprite:
A Red Sprite is a special type of light that happens high up in the sky during thunderstorms. It's like a big, bright, red flash, but it only lasts for a tiny moment. Think of a red jellyfish with long, glowing arms reaching up toward space. That's kind of what a red sprite looks like! It’s really big, sometimes as wide as several city blocks, but it’s very faint and happens very quickly. It doesn’t happen near the ground or in the storm clouds where regular lightning is. Instead, it happens way higher, where airplanes fly or even higher, almost near space. When really strong lightning strikes the ground, it can send a sort of "shock" up through the air. That’s what makes the red sprite appear.

ℹ️ Rare Pangolin:
These unique mammals are covered in protective keratin scales and are known for rolling into a ball when threatened. They’re also the only mammals fully covered in scales.

🏖️ Glowing beach:
We humans can witness this natural phenomenon when there is lots of bioluminescence in the water, usually from an algae bloom of plankton. The bioluminescent sea will glow when it's disturbed by a wave breaking or a splash in the water at night.

🌈 Red rainbow:
A red rainbow is a rare type of rainbow that appears mostly in shades of red instead of the usual full spectrum of colors. This happens because of how light interacts with the atmosphere, especially during sunrise or sunset.

🦜 Kakapo:
The kakapo is a flightless, nocturnal parrot that’s critically endangered. It’s known for its friendly demeanor and a musky sweet smell. (New Zealand)

🌈 Fire rainbows:
So-called "fire rainbows" are neither on fire nor are they rainbows, but they sure are stunning. These are an optical phenomena occurring in winter when cold moist air forms ice crystals in the stratosphere.
