BEST FISH SANDWICH NYC, FAMOUS FISH MARKET HARLEM

FAMOUS FISH MARKET has been here since 1974. An ex used to bring me here after work and there would be lines going around the corner.

I haven't been back in almost 15 years or more. It's a family owned business run by Erick Strickland a really nice gentleman. They have fried fish shrimp, clam strips, fries and a great fish sandwich .

The Fish is smothered in flour and batter made of a secret family recipe fried amd wrapped between two slices of whole wheat bread. It's a generous amount of fish served with tartar sauce on the side. You can taste lemon, black pepper amd its fresh.

I also picked up the fried shrimp and fish comb. Everything was so good. I did share this with a friend.

I use to live in the area many years ago. I must go back soon. That spot was the place to be. And that fish sandwich was to die for. The shrimp, and combo was the bomb.

This was the best place in NYC for a fried fish sandwich. I used to go here for lunch. Just bread fish and hot sauce was all I needed. So good! ❤
