What’s appalling is how they were effectively abandoned by the government after rescue, had their disability payments cut and received no compensation for their trauma.
The Chilean president in an interview said that they have to move on….deplorable.

I remember crying so hard as the miners finally started coming up. I just watched the movie about it. I think they did a fairly good job of showing the harsh emotions the miners went through. I pray that one day, Chile will require the San Jose Mine to compensate these men.
