As one of the original four horsemen of the Scottpocalypse, it is nice to see that Scott can still impress and get one excited about chemistry even after being in the business for 40+ years. It is not just that he hangs around with young people. It is that these young people are extremely talented and ambitious souls, whose own excitement about chemistry create a synergy that feeds off itself to create something bigger than the sum of the parts. It is wonderful!

I had met Scott at a few congresses several years ago and I was pleased to see him again, now that I am retired. Thank you Erick for your initiative!

Wonderful interview by two great synthetic organic chemists. Listening to Dr. Denmark reminded me of my days as the editor of the Organic Reactions series while Scott was Editor-in-Chief. Scott's truly singular passion for chemistry had always dominated every conversation, decision, and action in those days. Kudos to both of you on taking me back in time and reminding me why I still love the field so much as well from a publishing perspective. Bravo!
