Very nice. As a kid I wanted to pickup programming one day and was thrown off by the not so approachable way things were explained in the book my dad had bought for himself. Never tried it every since. Now some 30 years later I did some basic stuff because of these videos. And I start to try out things as well. I recognise some things from some Excel databases I made, which was an interesting undertaking by itself with my legal background as you hardly do calculations having such a background.

Isn't the second parameter in splicing actually the length of the string you would like returned?

How come when I do the sentence[0:7] it cuts it off? Yet when I do sentence[7] it returns correctly.

Hello Avinash, if we are typing "Hi" * 10 to get the output Hi (10 times) but with a space between each Hi. How can we get that?
