Sir I have searched whole YouTube but this is the certified answer to me.
A person was teaching on YouTube by very long process and very lots of confusion was there. And he was suring us that there is no other way to calculate cube roots easier than his way.
But you are the answer of that person.
Love from India..

You’re the best math channel ever! Aussie schools now allow you to use your own strategies, so your channel has helped me greatly

Love your videos mate. Would really like it if you would include an explanation on why these tricks work as well. Would help people not only understand, but probably remember better. And maybe even come up with their own TecMath tricks.

So the denominator of the answer is Derivative of the root? X^3 => 3x^2 ?

Does that work well for xth roots too?

If the closest number is above the number that we are finding the cubed number form do we use it or do we always use the one below it? sorry if that sounded confusing

23/48= .48 (co-incidentally) but for 87 the closest 2 decimal root below it was 4.43. For these midrange numbers between cubes u can tweak this by subtracting 2 from the difference. 21/48 = .43. Pretty amazing? No I didn't just do that to make it work; it actually works on all 2 digit numbers except for those close to a natural cube when it is not needed. For 3 digits subtract 5, for 4 -8. Is there a pattern there? There should be.
For some numbers taking the average result of cubes above and below works more exactly. Think about it next time the long division method seems required. I hope somebody appreciates it 😉
