UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.

The world’s largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.

Before, during and after humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families. Non-political and impartial, we are never neutral when it comes to defending children’s rights and safeguarding their lives and futures.

And we never give up.

“Expect the least from others. If they do something for you, it will add to your happiness. If they don't, it won't make you sad.”

Unfulfilled expectations are one of the most important reasons for differences in any relationship.

Whenever we are in a relationship, we develop expectations. The closer is the person, the more are the expectations from them. The more expectations we have, the more we limit our happiness.

Though it is difficult not to expect from our loved ones, we can always try to limit it. This will not only improve our relationship but also bring more fulfillment even when our small expectations are met.

Hello UNICEF, I am from Iraq and I am 15 years old. I really want to become an ambassador for children's and women's rights in Iraq, help children with education, good health and well-being, and help girls prevent child marriage by holding awareness lectures and campaigning against child marriage. it's my dream! What are the requirements for this dream?
