This is what the non super series should have been. I bet these will be more expensive than the list says. The memory bus uplift is necessary for 40 series but nvidia gonna act like a 256 bit bus is still worth nearly $1000. Bet.

Finally, a 60 class card with a 60 name, and a 70 class card with a 70 name, i was getting really tired of 50 class cards with 60TI name, 60 class card with 70TI name, and 70 class card with 80 name
For edification, i dont think Nvidia wants to sell consumer graphics cards any more, because every 4090TI they sellf for $2000, they're loosing $15k in potential profit to AI companies and datacenters.

Why do people keep acting like the 4090 isn't ridiculously expensive? It is literally 100% more expensive than it has any business being. Just because the 3090 was more expensive doesn't mean the 4090 is a good deal. It just means we've been getting ripped off for 2 generations now.

That combination of price and specs for the 4060 Super and 4070 Super would make them the first cards in the 40xx series that made any sense. We’ll have to see what the competition looks like next year but compared to the current competition, those seem like quite viable options.

I would consider the RTX 4070 Super if they dropped it to $500. I think they are still going to try overcharging the prices for their GPUs.
