Beginner's Guide To Saltwater Aquariums 2024

Setting up your first saltwater aquarium can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. Today a short video on a simple tank you can learn to set up this year. We used the HelloReef kit because it's super easy, comes with the gear, and a ton of educational videos to boot. But you can absolutely piece together a beginner tank with gear of your choosing.

This is a short video, not meant to teach you how to setup an aquarium in detail, but rather to give you the inspiration and a quick overview of the steps you will be taking. If you've always wanted a clownfish (nemo) at home, this is the year!

Hey man I’ve always wanted to make a micro tank with small goby’s and toadfish I catch on my oyster lease down in Florida but I’ve never had a saltwater tank I work at a marine lab so I got a decent idea and can get filtered saltwater anytime I need you got any advice on how to start I got a 5 gallon tank in mind right now don’t have room for much else

I have a aio tank with a bubble tip anemone.It got stuk in the overflow.Maybe like 30% of the anemone was inside the overflow.And i feel that was gona split of.So i helped it a little bit.The biggest part is ok, the part that split off is much smaler but seems like its ok.Can this 30% survive

Clownfish require a minimum of 29 gallons, not 15 gallons. This doesn’t even look like a 15 gallon to be honest.

Is it the same thing to use distilled water with PRIME over RO water for reefing?

i just go get my water at the sea .... 4 hours of driving and the water will last a lifetime if you have a well working filtering system
