What's funny is JFK said "Ich bin ein Berliner" and this actually directly translates to "I am a jelly donut." I believe the proper way to say it would've been "Ich bin Berliner."

Everyone obviously understood what he meant though and it wasn't a big deal, but I just think it's a pretty funny random fact.
