i met Tom just months before his passing during their album release in brighton, he was such a humble and kind man, the world was not ready to lose Tom. Finding this nearly 4 years after he passed it still feels just as painful to have lost such an inspiration to myself, the industry, his band and especially his family

Just when I think I won't shed any more tears over Tom something comes along. Perhaps it's a lyric I'd not before connected to his life, a picture, a story about his life by one of his friends or band mates, a written tribute.
And then this.
What a hauntingly beautiful cover that really captures the sadness of this song. I had tears streaming down my face. Thank you for making it and for sharing it with us.

Adapted and performed perfectly, I never had the pleasure of getting to know him personally but i'm sure he would have loved this. A fitting tribute to the man who changed metal forever. Genuine goosebumps.

This may sound strange but i was listening to this cover on the morning of the 19th of August and almost immediately after listening to the song my 12 year old dog had a heart attack and died right next to the bed i was sitting on. That day was one of the worst days of my life but somehow this song was still stuck in my head and helped me come to terms with his death. the universe works in funny ways
