I've always thought wearing shoes in the house is super weird. I have noticed it seems pretty common in the USA

In India we always rubbed our untreated wood utensils with any cooking oil mixed with turmeric to make them to last long.

I came here from watching you for 2 hours in The Diary of a Ceo and you blew me away which your knowledge, calmness, and down to earth demeanor. You're such a brave person to call out so many dangerous chemicals that are hidden in daily products. Living in the US, I realized that I know MORE infertile women (friends, neighbors, colleagues) here than when I lived in other countries.
Keep educating and sharing your wonderful knowledge!!💖

In Canada it is considered rude to not remove your shoes before you enter a house. apartment, condo, ... You will get stopped and reminded immediately.
This keeps dirt, mud, crime, insects, ...from getting all over the floor, carpets, furniture, ...
Laundry detergents also contain carcinogens, cancer causing.

In Hawaii it’s traditional, we are raised that way, we never wear our outdoor shoes indoors wearing softer home slippers instead. Best for your feet and floors. 🌺Nalani

14:08 Laundry - I also noticed that the fragrance in those Laundry Crystals as well as the fragranced detergent itself, are endocrine disrupters. Especially bad for boys because of the xeno estrogen connection.

I am happy to report that very few of these products are in my life. I have always liked traditional housewares, so my pans are mostly cast iron, though I do have some Gotham Steel pans that are ceramic coated. I don't use any silicone or teflon style bakeware. I don't have any carpet & my floors are either concrete or unfinished pine. My walls are done in raw pine. Only my kitchen is sheetrocked & painted. I don't buy any modern furniture that is all synthetic products & glues. I like old real wood furniture. Our well is 360 feet deep from an aquifer that comes from deep in the Rocky Mountains. I don't take my shoes off because I am in & out frequently doing ranch chores, cutting firewood, etc., but there has never been ANY herbicides or pesticides used anywhere near our 160 acres of wild sagebrush prairie. The worst I'll track in is some horse & chicken poo & a little bacteria doesn't worry me. I don't use many cleaners & what I do use is pthalate free, mostly Dr. Bronner's hemp oil soaps & vinegar. I haven't had a new car since 1990, partly because it's a waste of money but also because that long lasting "new car smell" is toxic off-gassing. As are air fresheners. My one toxic product that I knowingly conceded to is my memory foam mattress because I have beat up my body so badly that it's the only thing I can get comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep on. I figured "pick your poison." Good luck on the detoxifying your home journey all. It's worth it!

Unfortunately, we in Australia have been drinking fluoridated water for a very long time. I watched the vid for cooking appliances, thecost of of the oven looking style would cost $300 AU. I use mainly Lodge cast iron, but an Air Fryer also baking paper. I won't be using the last 2 items. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 73yrs

I am a marketing coordinator for a few different eco brands and this video (as well as your diaper brand review video) are so incredibly insightful. I love this channel already. Please don't stop creating content! 🤗

Can you PLEASE do a separate video about the hazards of fragrant laundry products and dryer fumes?
... and really deep dive into it too...esp the health risks to kids, adults, animals and plants.

After 19 years of living here, our very close (proximity) neighbors switched last year to fragranced laundry detergent. The fumes are absolutely stifling us!! 😭🤮 I literally have to run into the house whenever it's running.
I actually started having asthma-like breathing issues because of it... and I don't even have asthma! 🥴

It's poisoning our air, it's poisoning our garden plants, it comes into our windows, and our air conditioning unit is in direct line with their dryer vent. 😷

I've approached them to switch back to unscented, but they robotically replied "We love the smell." (I swear they are addicted to it!!) I've read that people can become addicted to it. 😬

I've been thinking about doing a video about it on our other garden channel (Happy Home and Garden with John and Dawne), but coming from you would be WAY better.🙏

Oh yeah... and on the other side of our house, our other neigbor uses fragrant laundry too. And another neighbor adjacent to our small back yard too.

I'm literally bombarded with laundry smell almost every day outside in our yard. It's unbelievably horrible!!! 😱

HELP PLEASE!! 🙏🤞

I’m so blessed to find your channel! My daughter is having her second child and she’s been so conscientious with her first child, I knew sending her your fb page would be helpful to her as well. Thank you!

Well, I'm screwed. I've been using all of this stuff and whatever the Army gave me for my whole life, on top of eating horrible, processed food. No wonder I started balding at 21 lmao.

I swapped my non stick pans to steel ones and never going back
All my utensils are of steel or wood
Food containers glass only
Not using washing conditioner, instead use vinegar and essential oils
What else...no paraffin candles, soy sax or bees wax
Now searching for plastic bristles toothbrush
alternative
Thank you for sharing this information!!! Don't stop creating your brilliant content!

My problem is that I stocked up on a lot of detergent & other products when I kept hearing about inflation coming…now I wish I hadn’t stock piled potentially toxic items. Thanks for the information. When I look on the backs of products it’s still unclear to me which chemicals are the bad ones.

I cook exclusively on cast iron except when cooking with tomatoes and artichoke as these draw out the iron turning the food to turn grey and over Tim is super hard on the iron pan itself. Attention is by Far the easiest to clean! A well seasoned (used) pan rinsed easily in hot water. Rarely do I need to add soap.
