I don't disagree with the 35 minimum age requirement but it does have a few flaws.There's people out there that are more intelligent than past American presidents. There are young and bright people out there you just have to find them.

The protection of the Constitution must be addressed before they run, if by their beliefs they are at odds with the Constitution & Americans Liberty they have No business running . If a candidate can not put America first, the American people first they should not be allowed to run.

so my parents were born in the soviet union, but then my mom moved to new jersey, then gave birth to me in canada but by then she was a US citizen so that means i was born a US citizen so can i still run??? i’m very confused

The Qualifications, according to Republicans:

1. You have to be born in America.
2. You have to be white.
3. You have to be male.
4. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be qualified if you were gay.

I wish that, in addition to being older than 35 years, you can't be older than 65 years. That might have made the 2016 and 2020 elections a lot better.

Congress: Please make it harder for someone to become President of the USA! We need Governors, Senators, Representatives (national level), mayors of large cities (population 300, 000 or more), and Cabinet members ONLY for potential candidates. Must serve in their position honorably for minimum 8 years experience. Age limit 62 max. Must have Masters degree or PHD, must have studies in law, politics, international relations/policy and must be US veteran (officer). Also change term to 6 years with no option for re-election since it gives unfair advantage to being re-elected.

Wait so let's say that I am from a country with no American relatives, but am excellent in English and live in the US as a citizen after getting the passport for 14 years and when I become 35 and older I run, would that work? ( I didn't really understand the video)

I don't understand why not having to have ANY political experience or training in order to be the president of the US is not brought up more. We should make that a requirement.

It takes more than those requirements to be the right president. You have to have a consistent memory (as in both short and long term), pay close attention to others and important surroundings without finding that a hassle, and be a professional with logic! I gain a little of those skills every day with help from HAPPYneuron!
