You sir, are a god of golf. I have been struggling with a massive slice for years and stopped playing because of it. I watched this video, fixed my grip and went to the range. I practiced the swing as you said and let it go naturally. Stepped up to the ball, let her rip.... and it was the straightest drive I ever hit in my life. For the first time since I started playing golf I actually enjoyed hitting my driver today! Amazing! I will now make it my life's mission to watch every single one of your videos. Thank you so much for doing this.

Wow Rick.
I have recently purchased a Taylor Made M2 driver and 3 wood and was questioning my choice. Applied the teachings here with the changed grip on the range today, Bazinga, slice gone, and mostly straight. Now to apply this on the course.
Love your work
Cheers

Just wanted to thank you so much for posting videos for golfers such as myself that struggle with slices, chunking, etc... all of your videos have helped my learn and improve my game. Recently with my driver just couldn’t get the slice to stop, I recently purchased the taylormade R1 driver (black) used great condition. Anyhow, with the new driver and watching this 3 part video has drastically changed my drive went from a hard slice to nice slight draw and honestly couldn’t be happier or more confident. Thanks again Rick!

Read "the right mind for golf" and baught multiple professional golfer videos but for the first time in 20 years of playing the game someone's coaching actually makes sense. I enjoy your videos, keep going with the good work and entertainment Rick!

Since last season my slice has been mildly improving but after watching parts 1 2 and 3 I've done so much better at the range. You're the man Rick. I literally wrote down detailed notes on these videos and took them to the range and noticed a difference on the first day. I've rarely ever been able to hit left of the target until now.

I literally asked him how to fix my slice a couple days ago! a three part tutorial is better than a reply, THANKS RICK!

This cured my slice. After watching this video I went to the range and did everything you said. Now getting a slight draw or totally straight drives. Thank you.

I just started playing golf two weeks now and first time out this fixed my slice, I can choose whether it hooks slices or goes straight now!

Rick this Video did not Just help me! It cured my Slice today! No BS I was bombing my driver 300+ yards dead straight. And if it wasn't straight, then might have been a few yards left or right. Seriously thank you! This literally changed golf for me for the rest of my life! I will continue to watch and stay subscribed to your channel! Congrats on 1million brother you deserve it!!!

One of the best videos I've seen, going through all the minor details that equates to a slice. I have struggled with straight irons and a huge unplayable slice with the driver...to the point of playing long irons off the tee.

Thanks so much, Rick. Went out and played 18 today after watching this series last night. Considering I used to never hit my driver outside of the range (for fear of killing someone on the fairway to my right), I hit it confidently today and found probably 5 fairways. The grip tip really did the trick. Keep up the great work.

The series is THE miracle cure for the dreaded slice! After years and years of avoiding using my Driver and losing countless shots per round, this series has sorted out my driving once and for all. I was severely slicing shots out to the right but now my drives are dead straight, well, most of the time!

Understanding the concept of swing path was the crucial factor. My main adjustments were tilting my spine and getting the grip "V" pointing up to the shoulder. The rest fell into place and the results came instantly. Many many thanks to Rick for doing this series.

OKAY so I just got back from the range and had to come comment on the video because Rick's advice COMPLETELY cured my slice!! His advice at 4:07 about keeping the toe of the golf club in front of the heel during the backswing is what did it for me and like magic I was hitting the ball straight for the first time (I'm a complete beginner).

I've been following this guide for a few weeks now. It's taken me two rounds of 18 and a load of range practice to get rid of my bad habits. I havent sliced one into the forest since, am hitting way more fairways or just into the rough but still playable. I've increased my range by about 30 yards & my confidence on the tee box in unrivaled now I used to hate driving, now it's my favorite part. Sunk four birdies yesterday because of hitting good shots on the fairway
Thanks Rick you deserve a green jacket!

Rick- I've just stumbled upon your videos after getting back into golf after a 7~8 year hiatus, and I must say I'm quite impressed. I've played most my childhood and Varsity back in high school and ever driver I'd use I always had a slight slice or fade to my shots.

I went to the driving range for the first time in years and was slicing like crazy! Saw this video and used the "finger" gripping you suggested and WOW! What a difference! For the first time ever, Im starting to hit drivers dead straight, and even get a nice draw for those hard-to-reach gooseneck greens to the left.

I had always thought I needed a stiffer shaft to compensate for my swing speed, as I'm 6'4" (1.93m) and swing well over 100mph. Now I'm hitting ladies fairway woods from the same set I used when I was a kid and blasting the ball straight as an arrow. I feel more confident than ever with my game, and it's only a compliment to my (still) strong short game that I ever depended on to get me onto the greens.

Forever thankful for your advice and tutorials; watching an 8 minute video has immensly improved on my 10+ years of experience! Love the videos Rick, keep 'em coming!

I actually had this lesson with Rick about a year ago. I went from hitting a horrible slice to the left shot you see here. (I actually hit one 320 on the gc2) I never had another lesson due to finances but now I hit my driver straight to a slight draw every time. And so far this year I haven't missed a single fairway to the right and my driving is probably the best part of my game when I was previously too scared to even hit a driver. Whilst this is a great video if you can I strongly suggest you go and we Rick even if it is just for one lesson. I know I didn't regret it and will be revisiting soon to work on the next weak point in my game. Thanks Rick!! Keep up the great work!!

Hey Rick, after having a beautiful draw for a long time, I developed a slice that I couldn't reliably fix. Your video worked wonders! The key for me was the finger-tip club grip, allowing me to close the face. I was holding the club too much in the palm and opening the face to an extreme level at impact. This then screwed up my swing path, making it more difficult to follow-through properly.
Fixed the grip and suddenly, all aspects of my ball striking improved. Went to the range and was crushing every club. Just hope it translates to the course.
Thanks again for all the great vids!

Hi Rick. I have struggled for the last few months to get rid of an annoying slice. Not only did this help off the tee, but it has vastly improved my iron play. And to top it off, today I bagged my first eagle on a par 5! Excellent coaching methods, simple straightforward, addressing the average golfer.
