Hi I’m Matt Lockey, welcome to my Coach Lockey YouTube Channel. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, and to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf course vlogs, golf challenges, golf tips, golf lessons, golf club reviews and the odd golf club unboxing. So pretty much everything golf!

I want to help you play better golf by providing coaching videos on all topics about golf. How to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
As well as helping you produce the best long game you can have, I will help you lower your scores by chipping better, stopping duff and thin chips, pitching the ball closer and creating backspin like the tour pros. Finally, I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts too!

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Coach Excellent, very similar to the method my instructor used on me, to go from frustrated 10 year player, to the best hitting of a golf ball that I could imagine.

The power pin seeking draw is the key to all! You teach it well!

Genius! Worked a treat for me. I also found that moving it closer to the ball enabled me to try and line the driver shaft up with the one on the floor, on the way down. Thank you!

As someone who struggles with an "over-the-top, " putting a practice stix on the ground really helps with swing path. At the simulator, i left the stix on the ground the whole time during the round.

for someone who started with a channel with no content, you're getting some healthy numbers these days - 86k views in one day 👍

looking forward to seeing how your new swing performs out on the course

I like this tip because it gives a different focus than just target line. (You've already set up to the target line, now swing correctly.) Since the driver swing has already reached it's low-point before the ball, the driver is actually already on its way inside (very fractionally) before it meets the ball. This means that the natural driver shot is a fade and a draw for irons (opposite geometry). For the driver, Hogan's teaching suggests players should put their lead foot closer to the target line to compensate. I'm not a big fan of this because it makes the set-up less than simple (not having toes, hips and shoulders parallel to the target line) and even if true, how much closer is something you have to work out. What do you think?

Nice visualisation. To put a draw on that, do the feet point right of target a bit. (for RHT) Thanks

Nice strong visual, and simple.. very clear.
Sounds obvious but for a fade the club/stick would be a bit left but with the start end of the club/stick in the same place ?

Great tip. I can practice it all day long and looks good, but as soon as the ball is In front of me back to outside in. Thoughts?
