When playing Phar/Mercy the Phar needs to be mindful that they aren't immortal. Especially when playing against good hit scan. You still gotta play cover even in the air. Otherwise you drag you both into a losing situation. Also as the Mercy you need to be able to judge your beam distance. You don't have to be up the Phar backside. Hell a lot of times you can beam her from the protection of a good high ground without the need to be in the air.

I also want to say as a genji player that genji Lifeweaver is also great because he has the power to negate genjis biggest weakness, that being his all or nothing nature. The pull allows genji to play as aggressive as he needs to force any cooldowns he wants on a target before getting out safely with lifeweaver and reengage when he gets his own cooldowns back

You said what needs to be said. I hear to many mercy's in diamond/low masters being like "i cant just follow you the rest of the team needs healing ect ect" They simply don't understand the value of being with the pharah out weights healing your team in most cases. But i feel like the self damage bit needs to be done more sparingly, Although very useful. I feel a lot of pharahs will go overboard with self damage and in the end hindering themselves. Especially if you don't have a mercy or if she isn't following you properly. If she is hard pocketing obviously you can be way more liberal with it.

Mercy main here. The only time you should leave your Pharah mid fight is if she flies into the open against hitacan; you as mercy will be the first target. But yeah, use walls and rooftops to get around hitacans

The reason Rein pairs well with Bap is because he does the most healing and Reinhardts are dumb meatheads who just run it down 24/7 and need to be bailed out by their supports constantly.

I think that winston and brig make a pretty good duo.
In a brawl Brig essentially becomes a healing hub when weaving in and out of Winston's bubble, and her heal packs can reach Winston even when he jumps pretty far away.
