Dude how is this possible? Ive had my washer since 1989, i use cheapest detergent i can get, yet i see front and top loaders ppl cleaning r disgusting. Im sorry but i work in concrete so my clothes r FILTHY yet i took apart my 89 whirlpool in 2023 it was barely dirty. How do u ppl get these things so nasty?

I love my front loading machines! Top loaders made it difficult to reach down into the tubs. I happen to be short with chronic back issues. The front liading is ergonomically so much better for me.

Sounds like you’ve just lifted some video from a Chinese web site and made a few claims to get hits.

It’s not cheap detergent, it’s using too much. I use HALF of what is recommended. Clothes come out fine.

Nah. There are 40 years old front loading washing machines that are perfectly fine and functional.
It is not abt loading direction but up to build quality.

Top loading washing machines are like corded telephones

Front load is good if your cloths are too dirty but top load is all time best for long run

Don't listen the top load washer advise. In the contrary they are the most awful junk ever made. Just cut down your detergents and clean your washer very often.

We stopped using top loading washing machines in the 1970's in the UK

Its due to galvanic corrosion between stainless steel and aluminium. Hot water with detergent speeds up the reaction. I have replaced aluminium with locally fabricated stainless steel spider and using for the past 3 years without issues.

Bro I had a feeling to never use the front loaders at the laundromat. They stink so much more than the top loaders. And now I know why.

I just have learned something 🤗🫡❣️✌🏼 I have now a Toploader Machine since 20 years, before more then over 20 years another one also!
My Mom have had always one where she need to go down to pack it in and really happy with mine, never had any Problems!
But I'm German and we have very good Water and I use good Wash-Detergents...maybe that's why I'm so lucky with them 🤔😅👏🏼❣️

That's more probably softener residue. Detergent won't clog like that unless you are using too much, but the smallest amount of softener will build up.

It also depends on the hardness of ypur local water, the wrong one destroys the mashine much more tan any detergant.!!

I pour multi purpose scouring powder and run empty for 40min at 70deg. Second run just water and i do once every 2 month.. no issue and the drum is clean

The low quality detergent are chalks added to add weight to the product to reduce selling price.

This is not due to low quality detergents, it's due to galvanic reactions when the two medals are attached...
