Are you ready for summer? If not, you will be after this :) Thanks to the Beach Boys and the Wrecking Crew!! This is a tribute to Hal Blaine.

"Everyone can play covers, how about you start doing some music on your own?" This is what I read quite a lot in my comments. Unfortunately, my original music never gets as many views as my covers (because no-one looks for it because not a lot of people know that it exists...) but I brought out three original albums over the last few years. All the music is available for free on YouTube and also streamable on all bigger streaming platforms. Look out for "Sina Chi Might" to have a listen or click the link below to find a YouTube playlist with all songs made for the Chi Might Project:

My favourite thing about Sina is that she is Sina.
No costumes, no make-up, no flash, not trying to be a "character", no "influencer" image... just Sina.
She flexes a talent that few (twice her age) could muster and yet is humble and generous with it.
Thank you for that. 🍁

Great summer vibes Sina, and a wonderful tribute to Hal Blaine who died in 2019. He was the most recorded drummer in history and credited with playing on forty Number One Singles. His session drumming was widely sought after by countless Artists and he just about played on every Beach Boys song one can name. His catalogue includes such hits as "Barbara Ann", "California Girls", "Dance Dance Dance", "Fun Fun Fun", "God Only Knows", "Help Me, Rhonda", "I Get Around", "Sloop John B" "Wouldn't It Be Nice" and of course the most famous BB song of all "Good Vibrations". Thank you Sina for honouring a legendary drummer who deservedly entered the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame for music excellence in 2000, the first session musician to do so. A lovely Cover and we can see that you also had 'fun fun fun' recording it :)

The only thing better that one Sina is two Sinas.

Beachboys drumming was so often (like this) creative and beyond 'just keeping the beat.' Loved this - thanks!

You can see how much Sina enjoys playing her drums, she actually has fun and that's what making music does, it makes you happy and not only brings joy to her audiences but to herself!

Hal Blaine, The Wrecking Crew & the Beach Boys released this song as a standalone single in the Fall of 1966 when I was 10 years old! That year we had Pet Sounds early in the year, Rubber Soul had just been released in December of 1965 & Nowhere Man was probably my favorite song still though Eleanor Rigby & Good Vibrations were right there as well. Revolver came out in the summer. The Stones had Aftermath out & The Seeds had an LP as well as Paul Revere & The Raiders, Buffalo Springfield, The Supremes, Aretha & so many more! Other favorite songs from that year were Psychotic Reaction by The Count Five, Dirty Water by The Standells & Talk, Talk by The Music Machine! What a great time to be a kid!!! Great job, as always, Sina. You are a 21st Century rock star!!!

I lived in So Cal from 1966 to 2010. I loved listening to the Beach Boys while we were hanging out in the best beaches in the world, Newport and Huntington.

1:11 She even got that the tambourine hit was shuffled one note forward. That's why she smiled.

I'm always amazed at how drummers can have hands moving x, y, z and feet going a, b, c .... I'm so uncoordinated I'd fall off the chair.

You're the best Sina. I'm 65 and glad to see that the young generation today knows where the best music was made, the past, the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Thank you and your friends for keeping rock and roll alive. Proud of you guys, keep rockin' !
