My favourite bit is right at the beginning when Carl interrupts Mike's bs and just starts the song. 😂

The fact Carl smoked so much and still had an amazing voice this entire time is a true testament to how great of a voice he and Brian and Dennis were as singers

The Beach Boys were really a like a human body when you think about it.

Brian was the brain, Dennis was the heart, Carl was the soul, Al was the spirit, and Mike was the asshole.

Carl Wilson is such an underappreciated musician. What a voice.

I can't believe how great Live Aid was.

The way I remember this is like this. It was one of the first times the world saw Brian Wilson after many years of being reclused. He was fit but didn't look performance ready. It was fantastic to see him, many people thought he would never pull out from the depths of his darkest days during the 70's. Brian here is still was under the control of Eugene Landy, God only knows what drugs were being used to numb his performances. Very sadly Denis Wilson had died a few years earlier. Carl Wilson is the only Wilson holding a fragmented band together here.

This sounds astonishingly good. These guys had real talent. The vocals are so in tune. Blown away.

Carl Wilson is my favourite singer of all time. That expression and that transition between head and chest voice is unbelievable.

Carl was the glue that held the Beach Boys together vocally and as a band. RIP.

This song has more music in it than most albums.

Not an easy song to reproduce live, especially as ramshackle as a gig like his with such little time to organise, great effort

I love how Carl just sails into that beautiful falsetto. Unearthly.

No matter how imperfect the sound is, There's never a single time when I don't end up feeling soooo nice when listening to the Beach Boys . Looove the BB's and always will. They are FUN, FUN, FUN !!!

Mike Love is like the guy who puts no effort into the group project but takes all of the credit because he's the only one who's not shy when presenting.

Carl Wilson is so underrated. Seriously the man should be included like in the top 20 Rock vocalists of all time. With such an iconic voice in songs like Good Vibrations and God Only Knows. And also an amazing guitar player.

I have never seen anyone post a negative comment about Carl. What a talent. Gone too soon

This sounds so good with headphones on and the fact it's live... That's not easy. Great performance.

Remember this like it was yesterday. I was one of the plus attendees. 37 years later I’ll never forget that awesome day.
