Ive been a painting contractor for 35 years, just me and my brother, except for the first few years when the winter was a little tricky we've been super busy the whole time. All residential, we have a van, a paint sprayer and a powerwasher and a bunch of ladders and basic other supplies. Get good at something nobody wants or has time to do and you'll always be busy. You must do excellent work as well. All our customers are our sales agents. It has a low overhead. You can expand if you want with employees but that does make it a bit more complicated

I had both laundromat and vending machine business and ill save you time and headache dont get into either, real estate is king !!! The only business I can go on vacation when I want and I have a very passive income with awesome tax breaks very little heavy lifting, down side is the up front collateral that is needed

I knew a guy that had a side business laundromat. He put his two kids on the payroll while they were in college, essentially his kid's college bills were tax deductible and the kid's income was so low they did not have to pay income tax on the income.

I worked at a large Grocery Store for 4.5 years. Upstairs in the break room they had a soda and two candy/ chip vending machines. They were owned by a local outside company that did a TON of vending machines in this area.. I asked the GM... why not spend a couple grand and SAVE a tone of money, we are a grocery store, WE sell everything in these, and could cut the cost in half and still make a profit. She agreed and walked away.

I must compliment you on the professional way you narrated this video. Most people sing song the script and are annoying or speak with shrill high voices. You read it perfectly and have a pleasant speaking voice and without an annoying or difficult accent. Congrats!

Buy land is a great investment.
Buy in crowd area, make a business on it, not necessarily to gain profit, just to make it run.
Sell it anytime you want. No worry for inflation.

There is always a risk associated with starting a business - I agree with this! That's the reality, not all of the businesses are most likely to succeed, but it is always up to us whether to persevere for another day or to just give up. It is important to build a business you are passionate and compassionate to continue every day. Don't forget to invest in your knowledge and your business' improvement, rather than on growing profits alone.

Make yourself your own business and do whatever is right for you. Of course, you won't always know what that is, but if achieving it is your goal, it's your business, and you have to succeed at it if you stay on track and live a clean life.

All businesses you have mentioned are not for start ups actually they are secondary after you have gotten capital.

Almost all of those businesses have very high starting costs and levels of competition with low return rates. In the case of rental property your essentially collecting the mortgage payment until you can sell it off for a profit.

Want to know a good business with a low fail rate? One with a good plan. Here's your plan. Find a profession you respect. Work under qualified and successful members of that profession for 5-10 years. Make contacts in that business. Start your own shop. I did that and turned a profit year one.

The suggested ideas are brilliant. However, the only thing is that is whether a Business ends after 5 years or 10 years, not all of those businesses have failed- like all living things, there is a limited lifespan and sometimes there are instances of people deciding to end their successful business and move onto a different thing in life. Acknowledging of course that not all business closures are a voluntary choice.

Heard from many, unless you do all the work, eventually your own employees steal from you, why business failed- in my area cheap Mexican food restaurant, 7-Elevens, and motorcycle shops are still around after 50 years.

I work in the solid waste industry and it currently has a substantial trucking shortage. A dump truck or a roll of box truck for picking up municipal trash, construction debris, plant trash and other non-EPA/RCRA regulated wastes that don’t have specific treatment standards is in high demand. Also because these are short route milk runs and not long hauls finding qualified drivers is far easier than finding long haul drivers as the drivers will work a typical 8 hour day and sleep in their own beds at night.
