Dump truck business is insane. I used to work at an industrial storage lot and we were building a new building and paying the truck company $100 per truck per load to move sand across the street for a full day. Drivers did nothing but drive, other people loaded it up.

I guess that kinda falls under the transport business from the beginning but a niche within transport.

It’s great money for the drivers too.

Pubs - people always drink alcohol - Depression or Wars - People always will want to drink alcohol. There was once a Pub in the family in the early 1900's & my great grandfather drank it all away. I see ads with - 2 Men & A Van = home moving as you can get someone to transport your items to a new home. Yes we have rental trucks & the like but many people don't have the need for them as they shift locations.

I am sorry, but list is deceptive:

Transportation could means mostly being an Uber or Uber Eats driver. It won't fail but it pays little only as a side hustle/second job.

Residential rental is the same thing. The business does not fail but it pays little and becomes relarively unprofitable.

Agriculture too. Huge capital investment and unsteady and low returns.

Vending machine is a crowded space.

Self storage is not bad in SOME locations.

Laundromat is only good in limited area.
