You've clearly never seen me pull out of my driveway.

Some people need to send their children to this man.

Absolute life saving thing to teach. Mine are also taught the same procedure getting out of the car.

I'm the "you wanna go walkies!?" Owner. I love seeing him excited but I always leash him before opening the door.

Since watching your videos I always make our new puppy sit before leaving his play pen, before leaving the house, and before coming back in the house.

You have no idea how you saved me from losing my faith in my dog with the tutorial about stopping dog from pulling

How i did it: never ONCE let my pup walk out the door without my approval since he was 8wks. Picked it up week 9, have never had an issue since (15mos). Anyone i know who has started late and/or let's the smallest things slide even once end up with no results. Strict, consistent. Be friends later. You'll be a proud parent

your videos have helped me with my dog. he was basically kidnapped and when we found him again he was really reactive and his leash pulling near other dogs was unbearable. but now he walks very well and can have dogs lunging at him through fences and he is focused on me ❤ i appreciate you for helping me improve my dogs quality of life

Thank you so much for your videos. After the malamute passed away i let myself go and i stopped giving my labpit the attention she needed. Youve brought that fire back inside to keep on with making my current dog a rockstar!

I can confidently say that this channel helped me raise and continues to help me raise a great dog. First dog ever and I’ve had so few problems I feel like I’m cheating! Thank you!

I realized several dangerous and annoying habits came down to lunging. When we broke that habit, life got much easier, our dog was safer and people weren’t frightened by him barging into their space. Thank you.

Our lab was trained very well as a puppy, now she's very good about staying inside even when we open the door even while she's excited until we let her go! We are also lucky to not have a road right outside our door so she is able to run out of the house and be okay

I've trailed my Toller to not go through a doorway without a verbal command. That went sideways when a friend had to walk him while I was in the hospital, I got a panicked call "he won't go outside!"
"You mean he won't pee?"
"No! He just sits at the door and I can't even drag him out!"
Needless to say my husband and I had a good laugh and there's now a card by the door with pupper's "cheat codes" for the next emergency!

I saw a dog that someone was sitting bolt out the door and get struck by a bus. The sitter felt horrible, the owner should have trained it to wait. Plus this was on Halloween, the dog should have been crated. As result several dozen kids were traumatized until a neighbor and I were able to cover with a blanket and "quiet" the obviously dying dog.

I love how he shows proof with his daughter I guess handling that cane Corso. She was merely a guide and that massive dog was in total compliance, 👍

I have an American Stafforshire/Pitbull hybrid, hands down best girl in the world. She was about 2 years old when I adopted her, and the first command I taught her was "wait". Any time she needs to wait for anything, I give her the command in my best dominant and stern voice, and she does not move a muscle until to tell her "go ahead". It's all in the training.

Im a big fan. Your tips are really good.

We use a "wait" command whenever doors or food are involved. The animal isn't allowed to engage until we say so.
