10 Fan REMAKES of Game Levels That Look INSANE

Some levels from older games don't look as good as we remembered. Thankfully, we have these creative people enthusiastically rebuilding them with modern tools.

Great list - I'd add (even though it's not really a level and still in an early phase) the remake of Zelda Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Field by CryZENx. Imagine playing it like that! Blown away by what talented people can do, you can really see the passion they put into it - sometimes even way more than the companies who do it "professionally"

There is an amazing "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" remake being made in UE4 that should have been on this list, maybe on the top of it.

Not even a mention of Black Mesa? A complete remake of Half-Life 1, that took over 14 years to be completed. Which is leaving early access and releasing to 1.0 in a few days.

Not sure if you guys have seen them yet, but some of the gamer-made 'games' in the game "Dreams" are incredible. Metal Gear Solid, Spyro, Mario Kart etc. Pretty creative and cool stuff!

Honestly the Tomb Raider and Warcraft shots impressed me the most. There's a lot to be said for the artistry of making a game look like you 'remember' it rather than simply lavishing it in matter graphics.
