How to tell if a guy REALLY likes you

As a man who simps a lot this isn't entirely true. Sometimes I'm around a girl and I am petrified to speak yes. But other times I overcompensate for how nervous I am and I'm constantly chatting with them.

I think this can be true with some cases but not all. When I’m nervous in a social situation I tend to flick a switch and become over confident and talk a lot. I’ve grown up being taught that I’m the one who always needs to lead the conversation with new people (as most people struggle to converse with new people) so I’ve become very good at that when talking to new people.

But after I get to know people I start to simmer down and talk less. I mean I’m still nervous inside, I imagine most guys would be if talking to a girl they like. I just cover it really well.

Very true! The first several dates my hubby and I went on he shook sooo bad. You could hear it in his voice too but he’d try so hard to hide it. We’ve been married 15 years ❤

While this could sound like an overgeneralization with a sprinkle of hyperbole, I would say the foundation of what Sophie said is true. There's always that element of "awe" when we truly like somebody (the hormones kicking in and having a party) and that often translates to being petrified/nervous. Now the manifestation of it in different people, different circumstances, would be different. Someone could become really chatty or which could turn into nervous-flirting. Which all in all is pretty normal.

I had never seen him smile or really laugh before i agreed to be his girlfriend. The man had a completely different VOICE! if he couldn’t talk to me the man would break down in TEARS ❤ before this I had never really seen him show emotion. In fact it was my personal goal to bring feeling to his life… oh how much i didn’t realize the gravity of that goal of the time ☺️ he does these kickys now when he’s happy… sometimes boys won’t be scared of you especially if they are the numb kind. If you woke them up they will search you out like it’s freezing and your the fire. Girls who are aware they are a high value woman and are pretty too feel cringe whenever a guy is overconfident and very upront. I'm not super pretty but i know i'm not bad too as i can randomly get compliments from strangers too. But sometimes, guys who are too full of themselves and vocal about how they like you doesn't feel genuine. Like they would just treat you as a trophy to show off to their friends but don't really love you on a deeper level.

So guys who are self secured but still act shy and nervous towards the person they like look like the feelings are real.

Subconscious body language girls! They are not aware of it.

I don't know maybe its just for me. I like more laid back and humble guys but definitely has something they can be proud of.

That’s only when you’re really young so if you like 20 year olds or younger, but a mature man that is confident and is used to talking to women are just willing to put it all out there and fall on his face. That’s not a normal reaction a scared manisn’t confident with himself, but if that’s what you’re attracted to I totally understand but a real man is confident can come up and talk to you and treat you like a woman without being a scared little puppy and still be passionately over the moon obsessed about you.

Some guys are nervous sbout everything and some guys are confident about everything it doesn't make either one not genuine or authentic.

As a guy, I can tell you that there are more obvious signs...
1) His voice deepens when he's around you
2) His posture or demeanor is more confident (walks with his chest out/shoulders look larger or he stands really straight)
3) He keeps teasing you with little remarks every so often (aka every opportunity HE sees)
4) He MAY be prone to laughter and MAY try his best to make you laugh, or at least, keep you entertained!

That about sums it up for what comes to mind, and my personal experience as to how I usually behave around a girl I like (and a lot of these go hand in hand with a lot of my homies' behaviors in such situations).
