The halo was so hated when it came on, but it since has in these few years prevented at least 4-5 possibly deadly/ career ending accidents. Leclerc Belgium 2018 and Hamilton Monza 2021 would probably have broken their necks, Grosjean Bahrain 2020 and Zhou Silverstone 2022 would have most likely not have had a head at all anymore. So we as fans are super thankful that the Halo exists and makes sure the drivers can walk away from accidents!
