This video shows the locations of both Intake and Exhaust Vanos Solenoids
Error codes associated with a stuck Vanos and how it was fixed
Note: the intake solenoid is not removed in this video on this occasion but is the easier of the two to remove once you know where it is located (shown in the video)

I made this video because I could not find the info I needed here on Youtube and thought this may help someone else.

The original solenoids have been upgraded with more filters as the originals are prone to clogging up and causing this error.

I’m having a similar issue with my n13, fault reader says Vanos intake Control Error, Camshaft Jammed. The idle is very inconsistent and using a lot of oil.
