One more kind of HUGE thing on this topic for all those with older macs: If you want to watch f.ex Youtube in full screen on a separate monitor, while still using your laptop screen for other things; go into "System Settings" -> "Mission Control" -> Check the box for "Screens have separate spaces", and log out and in again on the mac.
I have had my 2012 MacBook Pro 13" Unibody since it was new, where i guess the default was "fullscreen on separate dashboard", so the screen that does not have the fullscreen goes dark. I didn`t hink there was any way to fix this, and i couldn`t find any videos explaining it (looked around several times before). Naturally you would look around in display settings aso, but no... Thanks for the video. It kinda led me to realise where the solution had to be hiding.

Damn, 1:05 you need to keep pulling downwards after reaching the bottom of the screen to make that fing dock come up, that's what I have been trying to understand for days! Thanks

running Monterey and at one point I could drag a window to the top of the screen and it would resize to full screen. Can't remember what I did but I can't get that feature back again..

I have to same as a lifetime Windows user having a Mac issued by my employer and having heard for decades that Mac's are just simpler and more intuitive, I am well and truly. Windows is at least an order of magnitude better in this respect.
