How to truly experience Berserk:
1. Watch the 1997 anime to get yourself hooked (Skip episode 1, watch it at the end so that you can skip a couple of important spoilers. Start at episode 2).
2. Skip all the other shows and movies. They are not really worth the watch.
3. Read the Manga.
4. Pray for a full adaptation in the same style as the 1997 anime.

After watching 2017 what point in the manga do you recommend jumping to? I was very confused cause in the manga when I started reading the first chapter it seemed so contrary to 1997's first episode yet the same at the same time for example guts saves a girl in the anime and a fairy in the manga and both seem to take place after the eclipse. So I'm very confused as to where really to start and go forward to after watching all of the animated content.

The ending of 1997 doesn't make sense. How do they get out of their? So many unanswered questions about the egg and these demons? I'm not sure if I want to invest into a story that just can't finish itself or tell itself properly.

Just read the first 3 volumes of the manga after that read 4 to 15 volumes that covers the golden age and trust me wyld is worth the time to read in the chapters he is just a savage beast

I just started berserk (around chapter 49) and I just keep wondering what did griffith do? because theres so many memes about it and Im just wondering what he could of done like it cant be that bad right so far griffith has been so good and a caring person to his people
