5 Rhythms That Make Beginners Sound Better

Do you ever wonder to yourself, "Why doesn't it sound the same when I play it?"

One of the biggest things I notice about beginners (my left-handed self included) that causes them NOT to sound as good when playing a song is that they do not yet possess some important rhythm skills and abilities.

It's not that they can't develop these things. It's usually because they just don't know what it is that makes the difference in whether something sounds one way or another.

The same chord progression in combination with the exact same rhythm pattern can sound like an entirely different song depending on what you emphasize within the pattern.

In this lesson, the first two rhythms are absolutely vital in giving the song you are playing a beat that a listener can hear and follow. When you can do these well, adding in the following three rhythms in combination with rhythm 1 or 2 will make you sound like much, MUCH better player.
