Welcome to the Electromaker Show episode 99! This week I finally get to announce the new Product of the Week series! We also look at the cheapest flashable microcontroller, which is incredibly a 32-bit Arm Cortex M0+, and look at a low-cost way to get WiFi on your retro computer!

Note that despite the thumbnail, the Rock 5 B Deep dive section had to be canned due to a corrupt file while recording. It'll show up in a later episode!

All prizes not claimed within 6 months will be put back into the prize pool. Please note that some items may require payment of customs charges when they arrive in destination countries.

Also, note that if something has a battery in it, it pretty much always means stress with sending them. These rules seem arbitrary and subject to constant change, so where possible, we'll ship things without the batteries and let you find one locally.

Electromaker contests are separate from the Electromaker store (I literally go to the post office to send prizes) so beyond giving tracking details there isn't a lot we can do if something goes missing.

Hey there folks, despite the video thumbnail, the Rock 5 B Deep dive section had to be canned due to a corrupt file while recording. It'll show up in a later episode! Hope you are all having a fine week - what are you working on at the minute?

Many thanks for the prize, and for 99 excellent shows. I think I've managed to leave a comment on every episode to date (I've certainly watched every one). Really looking forward to the 100th!

Thanks for adding technical page/videos. It's always to learn from a professional. I was hoping you guys reach good heights. All the best. And a lot of love from a fellow hobbyist.

I love the #PICO. I have ben working on a project to control my workbench with automated lighting and LED effects. Been quite a fun and challenging project.

I've been using the #PICO for a while, nice dev environment, that's good on Mac (which many aren't or difficult to install).

I've been using the #PICO when it first came out. It introduced me to the Arm Cortex M0+ architecture, and am now branching out to the STM32C0, and I'm also interested in those Puya microcontrollers. I think this a good time to focus on these micros now that we have all these options.

I love the #PICO it is flexible with choice of programming - c, Arduino, python. I am aiming to make a midi wind instrument

Very cheap MCUs mean the will be everywhere so there may be a problem of upgrading them all
