Thomas 4 Council - New Buildings at CSUDH

On location at the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus in Carson - District 1.

CSUDH has been in Carson for 50 years, and recently has begun a round of significant investments in new buildings. The first phase has been the introduction of three significant projects: (1) a new science building; (2) a new residence hall; and (3) the new innovation and instruction building.

The Board of Trustees for the CSU have also approved an ambitious master plan for the campus which seeks to take CSUDH well into the 21st Century.

This represent an investment by the State of California in the students of CSUDH and the City of Carson. As your Councilman for District 1, I will work tirelessly to ensure that these investments yield dividends not only for the students taught at CSUSH, but also the surrounding community.

For example, are you aware the Entrepreneurial Innovation Incubator on campus is open for use by community members? Ken's Ice Cream is one example of a community based client at the Innovation Incubator.
