I actually have the pleasure of knowing this charming lady, she's the chairwoman of my local conservative party in Hampshire. The delightful evenings we've had reminiscing about poking piccaninny's & glad thumping, which is an age old custom performed by the local landed gentry, where you thump working class over the head with a frozen turkey at Christmas, it's a meat tenderiser & a fun winter tradition - happy days!
