Happy Monday! Do you have any trips planned in the next few months? If not, where would you go if you could?

The tip to send one parent to board early.... absolute genius. I've never thought about that!

I am in the travel industry for over a decade, the tip about the parent first and then you after is a HUGE tip, bravo, thanks for the advice

I really don’t believe we should have to apologize for flying with a baby. Babies exist and they cry and other passengers can manage. I won’t say sorry. Not sorry.

Long flights you can request a bassinet, (under 26 lbs) even if they don’t sleep in it, it’s nice to get them off your lap

We just flew with my 11 month old. My tips would be if your baby is bottle fed bring a tumbler and go to a cafe or Starbucks and ask for hot water. Then fill up your tumbler about 1/4 of the way so you can set the bottle in there to warm up. Then when you’re taking off you can give it to the baby to help their ears pop

Air pressure changes do effect baby tummies! Hence why they tend to have blowouts on planes even though they haven’t had one in months. I learned that getting a cloth diaper outer cover (I haven’t purchased it yet but I have the essembly brand outer layer cover in my amzn cart) helps keep the mess contained.

I keep seeing those silicone bubble things. Great Idea to put puffs in them! Will definitely use that with my 1 year old in a month for our 5 hour flight. Thank you!

Wow, the husband boarding ahead and saving seats for the wife and kids is a great idea! We are using southwest and I kept hearing vloggers say to board last

I’m currently in my 3rd Trimester with my first baby, but I used to be a pretty frequent flyer with all kinds of very long flights/layovers and I just thought of this while watching your video:

When prepping extra clothes for yourself and baby, fold them up and put them into large Ziploc bags or even bring a small roll of 1-2gal trash bags so you have a change of clothes and a place to put the soiled clothing without contaminating your other clothes/belongings in your carry-ons and can also contain any undesirable smells. Keeping them with a dryer sheet can also add some extra freshness to those bags.

I do this for 10+ hr flights. Having a fresh set of clothes and some wipes makes a huge difference in comfort❤

Holy poop, that is SUCH a great idea about one parent going on first and then the other person going on last with the baby. SO SMART. I’ve flown a thousand times, but this is the first time I’ve ever flown with my baby. Also, the brand new toys is super smart as well. Excellent tips.

Doona car seat is a God send for flying. We also did the window and aisle and then when we got to the gate checked the seating chart. The middle seat wasn’t taken so instead of checking the Doona, we asked if we could use the middle seat and they said yes! It was super super nice. We have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and having them both in a car seat was very helpful. We used the car seat dolly, highly recommend for the airport. Also don’t forget toddler safe headphones. Music or tv will help keep them entertained longer and maybe fall asleep with the noise canceling.
