I don't know the relationship between son and dad but to see the son snubbing his dad's attempt at a hug/kiss just made me feel so bad for both.

Dad looks genuinely sad for a second over his hug getting dismissed, until he realized he was being recorded then put the tough/I’m happy act on super quick to save face. Poor dad, I hope his son gave him a hug once the flight was over. Sucks because there will be a day that the son will end up regretting this because unfortunately they can’t get that moment back of the first time flying with him/that “first pre-flight I’m proud of you hug”.
