I'm just seeing this video now for the first time, but I'm soooo glad I did! I only started seriously reselling about 6 months ago and I currently only have 258 items in my inventory. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, but so thankful that it's an apartment with TONS of built-in storage! By nature, I'm by nature, super organized. That being said, I feel that in the next 2-3 months, I'm gonna reach my capacity (unless I sell a ton soon! Lol. Fingers crossed!) I've now watched easily 12 different videos showing 12 different reseller inventory systems. All of them seemed high maintenance and not super fluid. This does! Thank you so much for showing. Now I'm gonna save this video! :)

I'm changing over to your simple numbering system right now. I already use Ikea bags so luckily the items can stay where they are once renumbered.

I do the same but with tjmaxx or marshalls big tote 99cent bags. So glad to see others doing the same. Things are much more simple and easy to find. I also think reusing numbers are confusing with accounting purposes

Hi, Thank you for this video! Do you mix style types altogether in one storage bag? For example, are Jeans, sweaters, and dresses all mixed in one storage bag of 25 items? That way is easier for a spreadsheet. I keep seeing many resellers have different storage boxes with only jeans or sweaters separated in their own storage box. I’m trying to figure out the best way to do this. I’m getting overwhelmed, and I only have 250 items. Also, are you still using this system?

This how I have it but now rethinking bins system into your bag system cos of space and weight on shelving. I just wondering you got a video on how you do items when sell as got skus do you make sure packing slip with. SKUs is on on posh? Trying work out that side of it now ❤

Love the system but I honestly don't care for the condensing / not reusing. It seems like I would get confused / lost when looking for items in condensed bags. I also have less space so ideally my bags / totes are always full. I also keep a spreadsheet of my inventory (mostly for crosslisting purposes) so I think having such a lengthy list / so many blank spots to scroll through would be torture. Glad it works for you but I just remove my number sticker when something sells (the backings are kept at my desk, along with my printer and google sheets and stuff needed for when something sells) and I reuse them all at once, when I have a batch of inventory to be listed. Generally I keep them grouped in sections when I remove them so reusing them / looking for where they go takes no time at all. I do, however, like the idea of being able to visually see the older inventory though! I only started adding listing dates to my spreadsheet a couple of months ago and have not gone in to add them for older items (using poshmarks invt report) and when it comes time for me to do markdowns / pulling items to go elsewhere, it can be quite a pain to figure out where the items that don't sell in the markdown are bc I was going based off of just in (& scrolling down) and the inventory report, so then I have to copy the link of the items and crtl f it into my actual spreadsheet to find it, as opposed to my spreadsheet being in order with dates beside it & simply clicking the links to the sites they are listed to delist, as well as just pulling essentially one tote / bag. Hope that makes sense lol, I plan to film my own inventory system video soon and will definitely make mention of other systems that have aspects I like but haven't implemented or plan to. I think lots of people do systems just slightly different from one another and I really like that you can pick & choose aspects that work best for you, your space, and your time. Is there ever a reason that you need to pull an item out for reasons other than shipping? If so, how do you handle that in your process to ensure it makes it back into the right bag so you aren't searching everywhere for it?
