When I first heard this, I had interpreted it as not many people are willing to go the distance to achieve success because it's difficult (which is true, it is).

After working a decade of my life to earn myself a living and achieving my goals of over a decade long, the meaning behind this quote changed. Because I thought it was the "successful" move to ignore social life, parties, and any fun outings, I became lonely because I never made the effort to build relationships. Perhaps I took it too far. Wealth solved one problem, but achieving it opened another.

My mistake is success requires balance between hard work and taking breaks to build relationships and actually enjoying the life you were given, and I did not recognize that. I hope you guys realize this before making the same mistake I did.

I’m a juco athlete, all my teammates are gonna think I’m crazy going all out start to finish at practice. They will call me a try hard. You can call me whatever you want when I’m at the top. Ive been working hard but I still hear that voice deep down telling me it’s okay to let up and so I go from 100% to 75% and it’s a pattern up and down from just my mind.

It certainly is a lonely road.. Today I cancelled all my clients and slept all day... I know I'll pick myself up, I always do. The haters are everywhere, just walking the streets is enough, its the way I dress.. Nowhere to run nowhere to hide.. I have to choose my battles and decide which ones to ignore otherwise the battles would be ceaseless.. Everyday I'll plan a decisive win.. The other day I celebrated a shiny tough lockable mailbox that lights up and glows at night.. Just to show the mail thief I'm here to stay and I have something you dont have..
