Glazed Honey Crullers are a delightful donut that is achieved using choux pastry! Honey Crullers are so much easier to make than a lot of other donuts but they are as satisfying to eat! Soft and sweet, those honey-glazed donuts are almost addictive! We really encourage you to try this Honey Cruller recipe when you have a little time to bake and you are absolutely not gonna regret it! Enjoy!

Ingredients you will need:
Choux pastry
• Water - 250ml
• Butter - 100g
• Salt - 2g
• Sugar - 5g
• Flour - 150g
• Eggs - 200g
Glaze
• Icing sugar - 360g
• Milk - 95ml
• Honey - 90g
• Lemon juice - To your liking!
The instructions
Step 1
Choux pastry
1. Bring water, butter, sugar, and salt to a boil.
2. Off the heat, add the flour.
3. Put back on the stove, and cook it until it becomes a shiny paste (3-4min)
4. Transfer to a bowl.
5. Add the eggs one by one.
6. Mixing in between each addition
Step 2
Preparing the donuts
1. Cut 10cm squares in parchment paper
2. Pipe, using a piping bag fitted with a star tip, your donut shape on that piece of paper
Step 3
Frying
1. Pour a good quantity of vegetable oil ( we used canola oil ) into a saucepan
2. Heat it up to 350F
3. Put the donut in the oil with the paper on top
4. Peel it off when it starts to detach
5. Bake it for 4-5 minutes on each side until it is golden brown
6. Take off the oil and put on a cooling rack
Step 4
Glaze
1. Mix all the ingredients together
2. Pour on the donuts
3. Let the glaze set
