The storylines, the acting, the script, the soundtrack, how everything is connected, how all the characters are suspicious of something. Like, DUDE. QUALITY. This is an EPIC AND AN AMAZING TV DRAMA. OKAY my thoughts...personally I think Laurel ran off by herself. She gave Annalise that sincere “thank you” and it honestly sounded like a goodbye. I think she had someone steal Christopher for her and bring him to her so they could just runaway from the mess. I also think that she did this in order to save everyone else!This was getting so crazy&out of control & I feel like she just made a deal to runaway from Annalise & everyone else in exchange for their safety. Laurel may be a little crazy&impulsive but she isn’t selfish

Laurel’s face as Annalise takes the phone call and when she’s talking shows so much. She keeps giving her side eye, she already planned leaving .. Such a great finale, they always do so well!!

FOR PEOPLE ASKING ABOUT SEASON 6: ABC has not said yet if there is a 6th season. Peter Norwalk creator and head writer said on twitter after the finale ended said: "Thanks everyone for watching and lets hope for season 6". In May 2019 is when all the TV networks make their press announcements for the Fall Sept 2019- May 2020 schedule! I know all this since I used to work many years on an ABC 1 hour drama series that ran for 3 years. Hope this helps answer your question about season 6!

Laurel took her son and disappeared. She just said goodbye to Annalise. There was some silent communication between her and her brother, I got a protective big brother vibe from him. And when laurel wanted to know who was calling her, she first thought of calling her brother and asking him for help.
Even Dominic said that nobody truly knows her.
