1️⃣ Your deficit is so high that it leads to unconscious snacking and / or consuming double or triple the amount of calories on the weekend. This can very fast increase your average intake and make you think you are in a deficit but you’re actually not. Which leads to frustration and therefore to even less motivation to stay on track.

2️⃣ You are eating so little but also your energy expenditure decreased a lot. You might walk and move less throughout the day & have less energy in your workouts.

The solution 👇🏼

Stop trying to get the „fast“ route. It’s not faster, because you’re just in an on/off diet mode but never go to a state of your desired balanced maintenance.

How to get there if you want to lose fat:

1️⃣ Start a moderate deficit that allows you to have enough energy in the gym
2️⃣ Plan diet breaks
3️⃣ Keep or increase your daily activity (steps)
4️⃣ After you reached your goal weight: Keep your behaviors the same as in the deficit but increase the calories to maintenance.

please please please I hear a lot of people saying they eat 1200 cal and some as low as 600 cal in these comments. Unless you are 5 years old, that is not enough food. Fuel your body and you will be happier ❤

I do this because I have to I have a fast metabolism. In fact it seems like I'm never eating enough over the years my being so thin has led people to worry that I'm not eating enough if I go without food for 6 hours at that point I'm already shaky I have no idea what to do about it I've been like this my whole life and now I'm 30

I don’t eat that much but I have a very slow metabolism and if it gets used to over exercising and I stop I’ll gain like 20 pounds in like 3 weeks 😢😢

ok i’m just gonna say it, but basically, i’m a pretty small person. like i weigh 90-100 pounds, and i’m around 5’1-5’3 i think, however i feel like i eat kind of a lot like i have a high metabolism so i’m really hungry a lot. like one day i counted how many calories i eat just eating intuitively and eating how i usually eat and it was like somewhere between 2000-3200 calories so i’m very confused why i’m this small of a person while most people eat less than me and are still bigger? maybe it’s because i’m still like an older-teenager, but idk

I eat so much because i have a fast metabolism. I could eat so much food and be completely full but then an hour later I’m starving. People always say for a small person I eat a lot get called a pig. Or people tell me I need to eat more cause I look to skinny. I’ve tried everything to gain weight because I’m under weight. My doctors told me that they can’t really do anything but try to recommend stuff but it never does anything. I always eat healthy and get everything my body needs and try to eat more filling foods. Nope I lose instead of gain weight and it’s annoying. And I’m a very active person I go to the gym, I play sports so I train almost daily, go on bike rides or runs.
