In this video, My Top 5 Gold Coins for 2022! I explore some of my current gold coin stack and discuss some of my goals for 2022. In particular, I am hoping to buy the following 5 gold coins from local dealers or private parties this year: 1) American Gold Eagle Type 2, 2) $5 Indian Head, 3) 2013-W Reverse Proof Gold Buffalo, 4) Perth Mint Double Dragon, 5) $10 Indian Liberty War Bonnet.

These coins have been on my radar for quite some time, so I am focused on purchasing them sooner than later! If you are stacking gold, what are you looking to buy this year?

Awesome goals for the year! I have both of those Indian head coins and I couldn’t recommend them any higher. Nice quarter eagle by the way, those cost almost as much as the half Eagles nowadays.

you have some good taste vert you got me drooling on that gold double dragon. my plan for this year is fractional gold in the 1/10 form. I don't have a lot of it and I'd like to add some. with that on my channel like on some others I've seen I'm going to challenges others to do the same and, in the end, going to gift a 1/10 to one lucky stacker. great video

$10 Indian head is one of my favorites. Had a chance to pick up a couple graded coins close to spot a few years back, paid 700-750 a piece. No regrets!!

Those are some solid choices to hunt. I especially like the pre-33 coins and am looking to add those as well this year. But that reverse proof buffalo is off the hook! Good luck!

Refined taste for a refined gentleman. Excellent choices, I hope you find them in your area. My LCS started carrying the type 2 eagles nearly immediately. It makes me so happy and angry your number 1 choice is the $10 Indian. That is my favorite and I'm glad you like it; but damn it Vert, I don't need more competition getting these! Lol.

Good Luck on getting these from Local places. Today it is way to easy to go online to get coins but it’s somewhat more satisfying to hunt for it at local shops. I want to pick up a 1/4 Oz gold Eagle this year. That would be a nice addition to my mini gold stack

That’s awesome that you’re looking to grab these from an LCS as opposed to online. Super cool. The 2022 AGE is definitely on my radar too. That $5 Indian Head is my only piece of pre-33 gold so far. I got one in BU and I love those! Wow, 2013-W RP buffalo? Sweet coin! As a rule I love RP’s! Nice choice. Oh yes, the Perth DD! Phenomenal coin!!!! I’ve been considering this coin as well. I'm still hunting a 1981 gold Onza, and have been for about five years now.

Good luck with your search - I am confident you'll be able to pick them all up! I don't have a specific goal, but I am always looking for the special limited edition US gold coins like the 2016 Walking Liberty and the 2009 Ultra High Relief, or any of the American Liberty high relief coins. Also love picking up the reverse proof Buffalo and Eagle whenever I can find them.

That’s a nice selection, I prefer the high grade numismatic pre33, but numismatics are in a roaring bull market right now so I’m not a buyer, which is why I don’t have any of those yet, perhaps down the line

I like your goals. I have some of the same. I purchased a 2021 AGE Type II that I gave as a gift, now I want one for myself. I'd also like a $10 gold Indian, but I'm looking for a specific year which will likely make my search more difficult. Good luck in your hunt this year.
