They make remote starts for manual cars... they just have a sensor or something where the Start feature doesn't work if the car is in gear

Viper remote start systems have an add-on for manuals, had one on Xterra. It requires using the e-brake, brake, and remote in sequence to enable the remote start capability.

I feel it’s not that pointless just because if you are by yourself you can enjoy the amazing sound of your car from the outside without someone sat in it. Most people with this car are likely to be car enthusiasts and would use it alot. Wish my mustang would do that haha

My civic from the 90’s was a 5 speed and had auto start. It’s called a neutral position switch

I have a 6 speed manual and my auto start works just fine. You can't set it when it's in gear.

Not being able to auto start a manual is beyond dumb to me. The car can tell if the clutch is pushed in and it can tell what gear it’s in ect. You’re telling me they can’t figure out how to make it not start if left in gear?
