You're making the first hammer part seem easy, I had to smash it as hard as possible. i Recommend trying to hold the plastic and smash the iron part, but be careful as not to damage it

This is only going to work that easy IF it's brand new. If your chair was in use for a while and this is your replacement or maintenance you will need A LOT MORE force to loosen them.

I beat the shit out of that plastic base with regular hammer and it didn't move a bit. I had to cut it with a handsaw blade which I constantly put over a flame (regular kitchen stove). Once it burned through plastic apply just one finishing BANG and got that sucker out! Time consuming indeed but it works....

I have snapped off one of the legs, what bond / adhesive do i need to bond the plastic back together? Also please can you provide a part link for this exact base with wheels. If the wheels are separate how do i remove them?
