Controllers - Programming Multiple Programs Part 1 of 4: Introduction, Time/Date

Programming a controller is easy. You just need to program the current day and time and you are ready to create a program for your zones or stations. It only takes three ingredients to complete a program: a start time, run times, and days to water. A program is a group of stations that share the same schedule: same days to water and same number of times per watering day. You only need one program (Program A) if you want all your zones to water on the same days and in a sequential order. If some of your plants or lawn areas have different watering needs, they will need to be put in a separate program (Program B and/or C).

So if I'm hearing you right, I can set program A to run all of my zones except for zone 2 if I want to. I just leave zone 2 time to all zeros and it will skip over 2 and go straight to 3 after 1? I'm doing some construction on the back patio and don't want to use zone 2 for a while.

So if you (accidentally?) set zones of all 3 Programs to be operating at the same time, same day, the pump will try to supply enough pressure for all 3 to be on at the same time?

If you're using more than 1 Program, can you use the Manual Start button to run only one program of your choosing? (Or will it manually run all programs?)

Too bad this company doesn't monitor comments like some finer companies do, to answer questions like this.
