I hate that I have to watch this video over again every single time I change my schedule. But I'm very very grateful for this video.

I moved in to a new house and it had this control box. After fumbling around with it for an hour I went to Youtube and found this video. All I can say is THANK YOU!!!

I want to say thank you so much. I called an irrigation company and they wanted to charge me $60 to program my timer. Your video was very easy to follow, it took me and my daughter all of 5 minutes to program it with your instructions. Again Thank you so much

YouTube, and the wonderful folks who put these videos up are a literal life saver! I’ve been trying to turn off one of my zones all darn summer!

This unit came with our house when we bought it, the manual was not intuitive in the least, this video however helped clarify. I kept getting confused between the numbers linked to Program Start Time thinking they were station numbers, but as this video points out, they are NOT station numbers but start time numbers; you only get 4 start times per Program and only 3 Programs (A/B/C). The system will sequentially run each station/valve assigned to each Program (A/B/C) so you don't have to worry about programming a start time for each valve (just a run time), if you have 3 valves/stations assigned to program A, and you have 3 start times for Program A - 1 = 3am, 2 = 9am and 3 = 6pm then that means that at 3am your first valve will start, when it is finished with its run time, the next valve will start automatically for its run time and so forth, this will all start over again at the next start time which in this example would be 9am and run through all valves/stations.

Thank you for this ! I finally realised from your video, that I was getting totally confused between PROGRAM and STATIONS. My yard was being watered every two hours or so ! You cleared it up for me. I was ready to call someone out to take a look for me. You saved me some $$$.

Thank you for this video bc Hunter made programming harder than it should be with 1 through 4 not being stations in a 4 station timer.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I bought 2 houses with this controller, each with 4 irrigation zones. It wasn't until this video that I learned that the 1, 2, 3, 4 on the display for Start Times dial setting are for when the irrigation zones ALL get cycled through. However, for the Run TImes dial setting, the 1, 2, 3, 4 are for the actual irrigation zones. I've been doing this wrong for over 10 years!

The most valuable, instructional part of this was the grid. With that, you can see the basic architecture of how this system is set up to work.

THIS video is the first one I have found to discuss programming multiple ZONES with unique schedules. THANK YOU!

Fantastic video! The graphic on the left side really helped me grasp what was going on and why start times only had 1-4 while the run times had 1-8. Was confused why my sprinklers were running way longer than expected and this helped clarify things!

Good job explaining. Professionals installed the hunter x-core & irrigation system. Two years ago it worked with 5 zones. Last year it stopped working one zone at a time. I reprogrammed as explained again this year. When the water source is turned on, all the zones come on at once. I have turned my programming system to off & the water to all the zones still run & all at one time. I have to use my water source to turn the irrigation system on & off. As far as I know we have a secure power source.

Thank you so much for this video, I couldn't work out why stations were running twice. The explanation of start times being cylces not stations saved me!

Thanks for the help. Neighbors were complaining i was flooding their lawn. I had the right time and duration but the part i messed up on was the start time section. I had 1, 2, 3, 4 program starting when i only needed 1 of the 4 program starts.
