6:56 I don't want to nitpick here, but I don't think you've got the concept of variance right. Variance is measured in square units and it's hard to interpret, you might be referring to the standard deviation or some other way of measuring variability. I don't want to be THAT guy, but if you're showing stats it might be better to be clearer

You should have done a watching videos test for battery life, that's where 11th gen mainly shines and it really is more efficient, the asus tuf f15 with a smaller 90w/h battery got 8hrs of watching video content while many 10th gen laptops only get 5-6hrs

Battery test is flawed. It also needs light web browsing, not just full load.

Could you test battery life using some light workloads ? Testing using heavy work load doesn't give much information because it's just a result of Battery Capacity/TDP.

I hear a lot about the HP Omen and the Lenovo Legion, but not very much about the Gigabyte Aorus and Aero.

I just got an great deal on a Gigabyte G5 GD, and I am pretty happy with it, especially for the price. I want to keep an eye on the upper end Gigabyte laptops as possible replacements someday.

Nice Video. It's not a surprise to me at all though. First of all intel basically did nothing on their laptop CPUs since 8th gen. A very nice example for this are the i7 8750H, 9750H and 10750H, which perform almost exactly the same. It really doesn't matter which one of these you have. 11th gen is the first performance improvement worth the name for years. So yes, that's absolutely what intel needed.

I wish they'd work a little more on battery life. Considering how long I spend off the plug on my machine, despite it being a proper gaming laptop and all, I don't think I'd be able to integrate a Intel 11th gen machine into my daily life as it is. Otherwise, impressive stuff.

Thanks for the data. However, nobody thinks a heavy load battery life test is useful... Light load, dGPU off, 60hz refresh rate, browser loop or youtube stream test is the way to go. That's what you did for the XPS 15 review.

Can you guys please make a better battery test? Having just a heavy load test is not very informative because most people don’t use heavy load applications on battery power. If you could have a medium or preferably light load like watching YouTube videos would be great.
