this is gigantic. that CPU is actually pegged a great deal ahead of even the previous fastest desktop CPUs in the world. it's running at 4.1ghz and it's still the fastest single threaded CPU in the world. it looks like the leak about a 33% IPC increase was accurate. this laptop literally beats a 10900k single threaded and it even does it with such a margin that it looks like it's skipped a bunch of results in between. unbelievable. if Intel doesn't release desktop CPUs with this architecture soon I can imagine people reselling these CPUs + laptop boards repurposed with desktop brackets.

499-599 should be the price to go
I hope the pentium ones are way better than the J series in 4415U
The hd610 is abysmal
Something better than icelake igpu is very much needed in Pentium or Celeron these days

Is it me, or was the 4800U being heavily limited by DDR4 2666? Because its supposed to be running at 4266.

Most of the other tests come out between 17000 and 18000.

Good performance, but 35W is pushing usual ultra book capability. That's 2h of use with a 70Wh battery.
